Its Been a very busy past 2 weeks with no sign of stopping. Programming and CADing have been coming along great this year; we’re steps ahead with programing and we’re getting ready to give Britten our CAD so they could cut and send us our pieces. We have already received some parts and currently de burring them for building.
We also continued testing our shooter prototype until we got it to a point where we were happy with its capabilities. We mainly focused on being able to shoot across the field for passing, we believe that passing will be an integral part of the game this year.
We’ve now reached the end of the prototyping phase and are fully in the build phase, game elements, bumpers, ect ect. We have more parts coming in from Britten and new swerve modules from Westcoast products. We determined that our previous modules were interfering with our design; so we have ordered some new ones, updated ones at that, and are now waiting to build our new chassis
We also have been making a great business push for more sponsors and will continue to do so. We’re soon going to order some new Team shirts and hope to get as many new sponsors as possible before that.
Overall, a good 2 weeks. We’re making some great progress and hope to carry this energy into next week. Hopefully we will receive our new module and some parts so we can finally make some headway on the robot as well.
